Indonesia's Winning Streaks on Science Olympics

Just recently, a team of young scientists from Indonesia went to Turkey and compete there to present their best presentations on sciences. They were compiled in many fields which were Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physics. In Izmir, they do their best to the finals and granted several medals as results:

Gold: Nausheen Bhat on Environmental Sciences

Silver: Natasya Sulistyo on Life Sciences

Bronze: Albertus Magnus Aryatama on Environmental Sciences

Wisnu Murti Sri Budiarto on Environmental Sciences

Chrisopher Andrew on Physics

These were the achievements for Indonesia Team in Izmir on the International Conference for Young Scientists that held every year in different countries.

ICYS is sort of olympics that were held by the boards in research on many fields. Indonesia had been chosen twice to be the host both elongated in Bali. This has been again victorious end for Indonesia. This year, it was held on 19-25 April 2015.

These were outcome of the hardwork from CYS team from Surya University and Surya Institute.

Then again, for Indonesia's achievement just recently in the field of competition, Indonesia won achievements for APhO that was held in Hangzhou-China for the 16th time. Indonesia won quite competitively with results:

Gold: Kevin Limanta from SMAK IPH Surabaya

Hugo Herdianto from SMAK Penabur Gading Serpong

1 Silver Medal, 1 Bronze Medal, and 3 Honorable Mentions.

In APhO, Indonesia is ranked at the third after China and Taiwan with 29 Gold, 21 Silver, 33 Bronze, and 41 Honorable Mentions. This is a hardwork made by the APhO team that were trained by TOFI from Center of Science and Math Olympiad Surya University. One of the member of TOFI also were chosen to be General Secretary of APhO 2015-2020 whom was Hendra Kwee, Ph.D. APhO were first developed by Prof. Yohannes Surya to enhance Indonesia in the field of science moreover on Physics. This year APhO was held at 3-11 May 2015.
